Overview

The 2002 Honda CR-V EX with Leather represents the pinnacle of the second-generation redesign, offering a perfect blend of car-like drivability and SUV utility. Under the hood, it features the then-new 2.4L i-VTEC® four-cylinder engine, producing a reliable 160 horsepower. This powertrain is paired with Honda's Real Time? 4WD system, which automatically engages the rear wheels when extra traction is needed, providing confidence in inclement weather. The EX trim is distinguished by its body-colored bumpers and side mirrors, along with a power moonroof and 15-inch alloy wheels, making it a sophisticated yet practical choice for the era.

The interior of the 2002 CR-V EX is celebrated for its clever packaging and increased luxury, featuring the rare factory leather-trimmed seating that adds a premium feel to the spacious cabin. The flat floor design allows for easy movement between seats, while the rear 60/40 split bench slides and reclines to maximize passenger comfort or cargo room. True to its adventurous spirit, the CR-V includes unique features like the signature stowable picnic table located under the rear cargo floor and a waterproof storage bin. With standard side-impact airbags, keyless entry, and a six-disc CD changer, this top-trim CR-V remains a testament to Honda's commitment to safety, longevity, and everyday versatility.
